Dr. Lopez has always had a passion for the well-being of animals and has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little girl!
She graduated from Florida State University and took some time between graduating college and starting veterinary school to work at a veterinary practice that specialized in dentistry.
Dr. Lopez went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University in 2014, where she graduated summa cum laude. She spent 3 years in Grenada and finished her clinical year at the University of Tennessee.
She enjoys medicine and dentistry, and some surgery. She focuses very highly on client education, as helping clients understand the diagnostic and treatment process is paramount. Providing high-quality medicine and client service is very important to her.
In her free time, you can find Dr. Lopez with her family- her husband, Nick, and their two young daughters, Camila and Jacqueline. She has two very sweet black labs, Piper and Harper! Dr. Lopez and her family LOVE the beach and will take any chance to spend some time in the sun and water!
