From the time she was a little girl, Dr. Olivia Baker knew that she would one day become a veterinarian.
As a New Jersey native, she grew up around her family's farm which had many animals including chickens, quails, hamsters, iguanas, goats, sheep, and pigs. She attended Clemson University and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences and a minor in Business Administration. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The University of Missouri graduating summa cum laude at the top of her class.
After moving to Georgia, Dr. Baker joined our team in June of 2022. Her professional interests include cardiology, surgery, and preventative care. She enjoys building relationships with our clients and patients and working close together with the rest of the team. "The team at Jones Bridge Animal Hospital has been so welcoming to me and has become my second family".
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her husband, Garth. Together, they share two dogs, Bennie, a Rhodesian ridgeback mix, Buddy, an Australian shepherd mix, and a cat named Moose. She also enjoys cheering on the Clemson Tigers, cross-stitching, reading, cooking, gardening, and traveling.
