Hyperadrenocorticism (cushings) is an endocrine disease which results in high levels of circulating cortisol. It is important that we perform a physical exam and labwork on your pet at least twice a year to ensure cortisol levels are well regulated. Re-Checks are also essential in order to monitor for potential side effects related to both the disease process and to the medication.

Drugs Used:  Trilostane or Lysodren

Drug Monitoring:

                           -Blood Testing (ACTH Stim. Test) every 6 months.

                           -CBC/Blood Chemistry profile annually.
